Sentence Patterns

Background

IC = Independent clause = subject +verbs+direct = complet idea
DC = Dependent clause = subject+verbs = incomplete idea
M = Modifier
PP = Prepositionial phrase (no verb)
ex. CSL(subject) has(vb) 3200 taelented(m) students(do) in many(pp) programs, which(rp) are(dc) very interesting.
DO = Direct object
SC = Subordinating conjuction
CC = Coordinating conjunction
RP = Relative pronoun
CA = Coordinating adverb
IO = Indirect object
